Registered Social Worker & Clinical Counsellor

Lisa obtained a Degree in Social Work (BSW) from the University of Regina in 2002 and is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW).  She also holds a Degree in Physical Activity Studies (BPAS) which was granted from the University of Regina in 1993.  Lisa has worked as a Registered  Social Worker with children, adolescents and adults for over 20 years and prior to that worked with people with disabilities for 10 years.

When Lisa is not at work, you will find her with her family, running, working out at the gym or watching sports.  Lisa also enjoys spending time outside and as well enjoys time with her friends.

Lisa is continually learning and growing in therapeutic modalities.  Most recently (July 2023) became a Registered Therapeutic Play Practitioner through Rocky Mountain Play Therapy Institute.  Lisa has a deep passion for empowering individuals to navigate life’s obstacles, fostering resilience and fostering meaningful change through utilizing Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness, and Therapeutic Powers of Play.
